The competition is organised by Steve Crawford Promotions in conjunction with Music Machine Entertainments and the Pier Theatre Bournemouth


Terms and Conditions

By applying for the contest, the Applicant/s hereby agrees to the following Terms and Conditions

    • Agree to be available at such times or locations that competition may reasonably require.
    • Music supplied and content of performance shall not infringe the rights of any third party, common law or statutory rights in any material.
    • Junior applicants must have reached age 8 years or be less than age 16 years by 11th July 2009.
    • Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
    • Adult applicants must be age 16 years or more by 11th July 2009.
    • Under 18’s must inform a parent/s or legal guardian of your entry into contest.
    • Prize fund is £1000
    • Acts will be marked on Presentation, Personality, Talent & Star Potential. Each Judge will mark each section out of 10 marks thus giving a maximum mark per act of 40.
    • Each act must perform within a short time guideline which will be determined on the day of the show. For Juniors there is a maximum time of 5 minutes per act including Semi-Finals and Final. For Adults there is a maximum of 3 songs for vocalists and 15 minutes for non-vocal acts but be aware this may decrease for Semi-Finals and Final.
    • Marks will be deducted for time over-runs.
    • Judges marks and Audience Votes are counted under strict adjudication.
    • The Judges decisions will be final. 
    • All personal details and other information given in your Application must be accurate and in no way misleading.
    • The organisers reserve the right to disqualify an Applicant/s deemed to be acting outside the spirit of the contest and / or in an unprofessional manner.
    • Agree to perform your act for the specified duration as decided by the Producer which shall be suitable for a family type audience.
    • Agree to be photographed for any promotional material.
    • Entry fee is non-refundable.
